One can spend his leisure time walking his dog on the Dog parks. Some of the famous Dog parks in the city include: All American Park, Centennial Hills, Children's Memorial Park,

You can also visit one of the Art Galleries in the city which can give you a very calm atmosphere where the galleries are filled with arts by local artists. Try the West Las Vegas Art Center or the Reed Whipple Cultural Center for some of the best art by the localites.
